Environmental law is a combination of state and Federal statutes and regulations, local ordinances, and case law governing clean air practice, water pollution, hazardous and solid waste, wetlands, and wild lands. The firm assist clients in obtaining required permits and complying with regulations and auditing principles to protect them from violations and penalties; advise them on hazardous waste, cleanup, and Superfund issues; and represent individuals and organizations in bringing actions where they believe a violation has occurred.

The firm advises policyholders on whether pollution investigation and cleanup costs are covered by general liability and environmental impairment liability ("EIL") insurance.
