The firm was one of lead counsel in the Mylan Class where approximately $100,000,000 was paid for over-charges in prescription drugs. Recently, Whatley Drake & Kallas attorneys obtained a settlement in the Unitrin Class of nearly $30,000,000 for race discrimination in industrial life insurance policies. In a landmark consumer protection class action, Whatley Drake & Kallas along with its co-counsel obtained a $350,000,000 settlement against AT&T and Lucent for the unconscionable use of a lease program which was alleged to have bilked consumers out of more than a billion dollars. The firm is also extensively involved in the ongoing In re Managed Care Litigation which has to date produced settlements with Aetna and Cigna valued at over $1 billion.
